Middletown Public Schools Continues Free Meal Access for Students in 2026-2027 School Year

Middletown, CT – Middletown Public Schools is pleased to announce its participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Through this federally funded initiative, all students enrolled at designated Middletown schools will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge, regardless of household income.
As part of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program, CEP helps ensure that every child has access to nutritious meals that support health, learning, and overall well-being. While household meal applications are not required, schools may distribute alternate income forms to collect information for other educational programs that rely on household income data.
